The Democratic Alliance has confirmed that the Fortuner Steinhoff rented for Mmusi Maimane was used to help him campaign for the elections.
Mmusi Maimane enjoyed a flashy ride at the expense of the infamous Steinhoff company and Mzansi seems to have been waiting for these files to drop.
While the Democratic Alliance was calling for action against Markus Jooste for the part he played in the Steinhoff scandal, Mmusi Maimane was driving the ex-CEO's Fortuner.
The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) has suspended Markus Jooste's membership. The suspension will remain in effect until disciplinary proceedings against Jooste are completed.
