"Gone in 60 Seconds": Video shows thugs hijacking luxury Range Rover

A video was shared on social media which showed thugs hijacking a Range Rover in less than a minute.

On Tuesday, South Africa Live shared a video which showed a man and a woman getting hijacked in a parking lot.

"Range Rover stolen in under a minute! Disturbing how casual incidents have become," the video was captioned.

The video gathered over 26 000 views in just five hours and it sparked quite the reaction online.

South Africans were fuming over the video and Briefly.co.za took a look at some of the comments.

Kay Reddy commented: "Gone in 60 seconds. No Nicholas Cage just dirty rotten scoundrels South African style."
Lorettar Adzali said: South Africa needs Nicholas Cage, Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone and Dolph Lundgren, but if your government has money we can give you Vin Diesel as well."
Drikies Goagoses added: "To say I am related to the young LADY in that video, such should never happen.We thankful they come out alive. God bless South Africa."
Funinkosi Kheswa wrote: "Even if this guy had an AK47 it wouldn't have helped in this situation, things escalates so quick!"
Chapel Mokgaga commented: "This criminal make us think twice about buying cars. Is this a freedom ANC promised our nation?"
Ebrahim Sahib said: "Nicholas Dube, hijacked in 60 seconds. Gone boss, gone. Minimum of 20 year's for hijackers with no parole. That is how we stop hijacking."
