Former Mamelodi Sundowns star Bongani Zungu is reportedly on the verge of a move to India, with the experienced midfielder understood to have agreed terms with Malappuram FC.
According to SABC Sport, the 33-year-old is expected to join the Super League Kerala outfit once the remaining formalities are complete.
The reported move follows Zungu's departure from AmaZulu in May, when his contract ended. He had been considering opportunities in the Betway Premiership, but his career now appears set to take another international turn.

Zungu has previously played in Portugal, France and Scotland. His European journey included Vitória Guimarães, Amiens and Rangers, where he spent time on loan during Steven Gerrard’s tenure.
