Monday dinner cheat night: Super easy cheesy pizza bread
If you like most people are not a huge fan of Mondays and the idea of getting home from the office (and picking up the children, going to the gym and all the other rigours that make Mondays the loathsome affairs that they are) and preparing a healthy, notorious meal for your family fills you with dread we have a lovely Monday night dinner cheat meal for you.
Briefly.co.za learned from foodiesofsa@instagram.com about this incredibly tasty and super easy cheesy pizza bread recipe that is sure to be hit with everyone in the family.
This recipe would also be fantastic as a party snack or a lazy weekend meal and its super easy here’s how to do it.

Ingredients
9 Slices of white bread (subsite with different breads if you want to healthier options).
1 Can/Tube of tomato paste or a can of your favourite pasta sauce.
1 Tablespoon of oregano.
Salt and pepper to taste.
1 Cup of cheddar cheese.
0.5 cup of mushrooms sliced.
0.5 cup of salami slices.
1 Avocado sliced.
Method
Grate the cheese and slice off the crusts from the bread slices.
Arrange the slices of bread onto a baking tray to form the “pizza base”.
Spread the tomato paste/pasta sauce and cover with cheese (ensure that the cheese completely covers the slices of bread).
Place the salami and mushrooms on-top of the cheese.
Season the “pizza” with salt, pepper and oregano.
Bake at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
Serve with the sliced avocado and be prepared to be blown away with compliments from your family and friends.
