Mlindo The Vocalist has revealed that he was only recently able to buy his mother a house.

The star opened up about his growing up situation on a Massiv Metro interview with DJ Sbu.

Mlindo said he grew up living in relatives' houses as his mother didn't have a crib.

The singer never had his own room and was always reminded that where he was staying was not his home.

That's why Mlindo was elated to be able to buy his mom her own house.

And finally get his own room!

Mlindo posted the emotional interview on Instagram TV.

He wrote, "At Massiv Metro with DJ Sbu. When the Song Egoli featuring Sjava makes Sense. Thank you guys for the support"

Egoli is about moving to Johannesburg and making one's dreams come true.

It echoes Mlindo's real life story as he's been one of the few blessed enough to be able to make a major success of himself in the big city and buy his mom all her heart's desires.
