Kgomotso Moeketsi's advice on Mother's Day: "Appreciate your moms"

Kgomotso Moeketsi has reminded peeps who still have their mothers to appreciate them "because tomorrow is unknown".
The veteran radio presenter, fondly known by her listeners as KG, took to social media on Mothers' Day to share that she lost her mom to cancer.
Kgomotso's tweet touched so many people who were also reminded of their losses on Mothers' Day.
She posted:
"Losing my mom changed me. I took so much for granted when she was around. I assumed the path of life until I heard the word 'cancer' mentioned in the same sentence as her name. I am not looking for sympathy. I’m reminding you to appreciate your Moms because tomorrow is unknown."

Her fans then flooded her timeline with their stories about their late moms. She offered words of advise to some.

"This is me. It’s been 76 days and having flashbacks of the times I took her love and care for granted."
KG advised:
"Strength. Time. Plenty of deep breaths. And tears of course. Let them come. Feel. Be. Then accept."
@Mapula_Badi wrote:
"Love and light to you KG. I lost my mother to cancer last year February. I don't know if I will ever recover."
KG told her:
"You will. You need time. A long time but one day you wake up and have pleasant memories and can laugh at the things that were funny. And then the treasures that come with dream visits are so exciting."
Other Mzansi celebs who were mourning their late mothers on the special day for moms are renowned fashion designer David Tlale and veteran actress Florence Masebe.
