- Well-known television personality Boity Thulo has dropped an idea for Mzansi’s major fast-food franchise, Nando's
- The stunning businesswoman also shocked her followers as they discovered she also eats kasi food such as chicken feet
- Although some of the fans believe Nando's won't buy the idea, some of Boity Thulo’s followers in Mzansi think the outlet's high prices would be a problem
South African television personality Boity Thulo has dropped a hint to a fast-food franchise, suggesting they need to introduce a new menu item. Known as Boity, Boitumelo Thulo took to her social media page on Twitter asking Nando's when they were going to introduce chicken feet or chicken necks on the menu.
The 'kasi delicacy' is a hit in many townships around Mzansi but it’s still not available in the restaurants that one can find at big malls.
Looking at the reactions, many believe that idea cannot work as pictures also show that the taste of the traditional meal might not be the same should Nando's consider the idea.
Briefly News was also attracted by some of the reactions and we compiled a few hilarious comments from Thulo’s followers.
“This doesn't even make sense for the business. Also, you are causing those people selling them on the streets their bread money, and also I don't think anything is under R10 on their menu except that roll full of white dust. Let's continue supporting local business.”
“I can already taste the chicken necks and gizzards ka extra sauce.”
“Please start your own franchise. I will help you. I'm a chef and have got great recipes.”
@Mzansifro can only imagine the price list and said:
“Yooo they will be so expensive."
“As starters like how they do the livers drenched in that sauce.”
@ItsTrueTapiwa posed a question to Boity:
“Boity do you even eat chicken feet and necks?”
Briefly News recently reported on Thulo that Bonang Matheba showed that she welcomes a little friendly competition in the industry when she congratulated Boity after she launched her own range of alcohol recently.
The move from Boity case was a complete surprise to many, including Bonang, who took to social media to congratulate Boity and wish her well.
Social media users loved to see the love shared between the two successful media personalities.
