Flavio Silva: Kaizer Chiefs Star Enjoys Holiday With Wife and Kids in Zanzibar During FIFA Break

Kaizer Chiefs striker Flavio Silva used the FIFA international break to recharge in Zanzibar, jetting off to the East African island with his wife, Zanira, and their children for a family holiday.

The 30-year-old Guinea-Bissau international, who is based at Chiefs' training facility in Naturena, traded the pitch for the Indian Ocean coastline during the break, taking in the island's warm waters and laid-back atmosphere.

Zanira documented the trip on Instagram, sharing a series of posts from what appeared to be a beach resort. The family's activities included jet-ski rides, boat excursions, time spent on the beach and visits to local art spaces.

The posts offered supporters a window into the striker's personal life away from football, with the family appearing to make the most of the tropical setting throughout their stay.

Silva returns to club duties with little room to breathe. Kaizer Chiefs face a congested run of fixtures in October, with CAF Confederation Cup preliminary-round matches on the horizon alongside a league encounter against Stellenbosch FC. The month closes with the Soweto Derby on 31 October, one of the most high-profile fixtures in South African club football.

The timing of the break gives Silva an opportunity to return refreshed ahead of what promises to be one of the more demanding stretches of the Amakhosi's season.
