On Friday, a woman, Boitumelo Melo Mogatusi, took to Facebook to gush about her amazing father and her post warmed thousands of hearts.

Mogatusi revealed her dad is not employed but he wakes up every morning at 4:45am even though he doesn't have to.

The devoted dad does this because he walks Mogatusi's sister to the bus stop and makes sure she gets on safely.

He then goes back home and waits for Moatusi's bus at 5:05am.

She wrote in her post:

"Yes this picture is not clear. That's because it was taken at exactly 5:01am... that's my dad guys. My dad doesn't work and yet he wakes up ka 4:45am to accompany my sister ko bus stop. Then he comes back and waits at the gate until 5:05am, waiting for my bus to come and calls me out as soon as he sees it approaching our house. Every day without fail my dad does this. He doesn't need to but he does. I took this picture today because: one, it's cold and we don't have electricity and two, my dad is standing at the gate getting wet and yet he could have chosen to sleep and let us be."

She added in her post:

"I really am blessed to call him my dad. He doesn't have much but I appreciate everything he does for me. The little that he had raised this powerful strong woman. Rea lebogo papa. And mostly at this point thank you for cutting your sleep short just to make sure we are safe. I love you."
