She took to Twitter and said:

”Congratulations to all @TheSAMAs nominees... so sad for not being recognised after what Matorokisi did to AFRICANS last year."

She further explained that she had made all the submission on time. The fact that her bae Master KG was also not nominated for the hit Jerusalema featuring Nomcebo is something that has had the people going. People felt that he deserved nominations.

Twitter users comforted her. Social media user robzinterris said:

"Don't worry thina, we recognise you Vho-Makhadzi... Keep making music. Your time is coming!"

"Those SAMAs are a scam. You are talented Makhadzi and South Africans love and appreciate you. Don't worry about those awards. You are a hard-working woman and your career will still flourish without those awards."

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za reported that Prince Kaybee dominated the nominations. The big prince was nominated for Record of the Year (ROTY) and Music Video of the Year (MVOTY) for his two tracks Fetch Your Life, featuring Msaki, and Gugulethu, featuring Afro Brothers, Indlovukazi and Supta.

K.O's comeback was also recognised by the music academy. He managed to scoop three for his hit songs Say You Will featuring Nandi Madida and Supa Dupa. He's been putting in the hours and hustling hard, and the results show it.

Briefly.co.za reported that KO was sure that he would be walking away from this years SAMAs victorious and it looks like he might have been right. The rapper felt that he has done enough work to warrant him bagging the nominations.

Other Mzansi artists who have also received nominations are Lady Zamar, Sun-El Musician, AKA, Nasty C, DJ Zinhle, Kwesta, DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small, Samthing Soweto and Blaq Diamond.
