US rapper 50 Cent took a trip down the memory lane by celebrating a hit song he made 18 years ago in a throwback Facebook post.

The Candy shop hitmaker could not believe that his song is still getting 1000 radio plays every week despite how old the song is.

He wrote:

Hey you ain’t gonna believe this one, but 18 years ago today i dropped a song i recorded in LA and it’s still spinning 1,000 time a week at radio‍♂️. The rapper gave Eminem a major shout for putting me on a successful music journey.

Eminem discovered 50 Cent is 2002, the same year the rapper flew to Los Angeles and recorded his first seven tracks among the 'In da Club' which later earned him number one spot on the Billboard list.

It is reported that 50 recorded his first seven tracks within five days and the records were produced by Dr. Dre.

However, with 50 now focusing more on his executive producing role and acting career, his fans could not help but ask him to release new hit songs post the pandemic, while some shared how much his first songs made them feel.
