Thando Thabethe is trending on social media after she was dragged by MacG. MacG and his crew slammed Thando Thabethe for her "selective activism" in his latest podcast.
MacG shared that the stunner called him out when he made transphobic comments in his podcast titled Podcast and Chill with MacG but failed to say anything when DJ Fresh trended for allegations of sexual assault.
MacG also slammed Thabooty for her "horrific numbers" on her podcast. He said she should just stick to "posting nude pictures on Instagram".
Thando took to Twitter on Monday night, 8 February after watching the podcast and posted four laughing emojis.
The star's tweet rubbed many the wrong way. They took to her comment section and also called her out for "selective activism" when she calls herself a GBV activist. Check out some of their comments below:

"Mara how can someone with 1.7 million followers have less than 2k subscribers. @speedstabro said this once that celebrities are buying followers and it's showing. Fake fake."
@Phehello_Mo said:
"He is right. Y'all are selective when it comes to cancelling people. When it hits the circle y'all are quiet. No lie detected there."
@FanaMatimba commented:
"Since MacG brought it up we want to know, as a GBV activist what's your opinion on Fresh and Euphonik case? Did you even try to reach out to the lady and find out if she opened the case?"
@CeciliaMunyai wrote:
"MacG didn’t hold back and even if you laugh, he’s right about you... you're very selective in your activism."
@lihlelelogmail1 said:
"Most of these female celebrities are. When a guy in their circle does something they don’t say anything but when it's someone they don’t like? Whoa, the world must know about it. Fake."
@NhlivoTouch added:
"You can laugh all you want but vele you are a fake GBV activist. Did you say a word about Fresh?? You wanted all the sympathy when they showed you flames there at your radio station and we supported you but yet you're here praying for a fellow black man to fall. You will never achieve MacG's numbers!"
In related news, Briefly.co.za earlier reported that MacG had criticised celebrities who practice "selective" cancel culture. The host of Podcast and Chill with MacG came out guns blazing in his latest episode posted on YouTube recently.
The star called out activists, especially Mzansi celebs, who cancel people who are not close to them but keep quiet when other celebs within their circle are being dragged on social media. MacG and his crew were called out by celebs such as Thando Thabethe and Rami Chuene when they were dragged for making insensitive jokes about the LGBTQI+ community.
"These celebrities jump on because they just wanna trend and jump on whatever outrage is happening at the time."
