Emtee Dabbles in a Different Genre and Reveals He's Working on an R&B Album

Mzansi rapper Emtee has revealed that he's working on a totally different sound. The Mzansi trapper took to social media to tell his fans that he's cooking up something new in the studio. Emtee captioned his post:

"RnB/TrapSoul Album underway."

Emtee sings in most of his songs but he's always made it a point to put his rapping above the rest. With Trapsoul, an R&B sound has to come through and that can only be achieved through singing.

The Trapsoul genre became popular in the US after Bryson Tiller dropped his first album, T R A P S O U L in 2015. Emtee is hoping to create the same iconic sound in his next project. The rapper's fans are excited at the prospect of Emtee experimenting with a new sound.

JR also helped the industry in discovering Kamo Mphela and some other Amapiano stars. JR has a YouTube channel called Feel Good Sessions where he gets artists to perform with instrumentals. The rapper has spoken out about how he had to hunt down Emtee to get him to license his music.
