Tbo Touch has reportedly been axed by a disputed board chairperson at Soweto TV. The former Metro FM presenter was removed by Tuis Jabulani Nkutha from his acting CEO position and that of non-executive director of the community TV station.

Nkutha also axed head of channel Nokuthula Zulu. It has been reported that Touch and Zulu are allegedly responsible for taking a decision to reduce the staff's salary as part of cost cutting measures.

The employees reportedly took the channel to court and won. Sunday World reports that the station was then ordered to pay the workers a three-months salary but it failed to pay back the money.
