Israella died while receiving treatment in Kenya, with the self-proclaimed prophet accusing the government of delaying her exit-entry to seek treatment.

According to him, his daughter was the unfortunate victim of his continued wrangles with the South African government.

In a post on his Facebook page the day she died, Bushiri eulogised Israella as a strong girl who loved to worship and serve God despite her young age.
