The number of people whose lives have been touched by South African philanthropist BI Phakathi is steadily growing. In a post shared by BI Phakathi on Facebook, the 'faceless' philanthropist can be seen blessing another unsuspecting family.
In the clip, BI speaks to the mom of twins who explains that she had to sell her boots in order to buy her babies some nappies and food to eat. After hearing that they do not have food for themselves, BI also blessed them with a ton of groceries. The heartwarming clip was captured:
"He was asked by a good Samaritan to buy baby food and Pampers for young twins as mother had nothing, she had to sell her boots to get formula milk. Later we discovered there was no food in the house. The father was laughed at by people when he went looking for jobs to help the kids."
Locals had this to say:
Bonita Copeland Davis said:
"My God continue to bless you, sir, those diapers were R199.99, was is that translated into US dollars, please?"
Sheez Ephraim said:
"People are going through so much these days. These videos are teaching me a lot... to be grateful and to always help others with the little l have. Thanks my brother."
Langa Green said:
"I pray that God opens doors for them that no man can shut. Thank you BI, may you be blessed for helping the needy. May a hundredfold return to you because you are not selfish."
Briefly.co.za also reported BI Phakathi has yet again proved himself a true angel on earth after doing yet another big thing to change someone's outlook on life. This time BI blessed an ailing young woman, @NkhosiLa, with R10 000.
It all started when the young woman, who is suffering from cystic fibrosis and has already undergone a number of treatments, tweeted that she really wanted to go on a vacation to get away from her norm a little bit.
"Still, no one taking me for a vacation, I need a gateway from these walls," she wrote. BI then asked her where she would like to go and after she answered Cape Town, the R10k payment was made
