Mzansi musician Emtee is feeling the pain of losing his childhood friend and manager, Lebohang 'Lebo' Maswanganyi. Emtee took to social media on Tuesday to let his fans know that he had lost someone close to him.
The statement did not say what the cause of death but stated that Lebo's family would be letting the public know what happened in another statement, which will come later. Emtee simply gave the news with a broken-hearted emoji.
The social media streets had rumours swirling around that Lebo died from a possible drug overdose. Rumour also has it that Emtee was with Lebo at the time of his passing. The statement released by Emtee Records addressed these rumours.
"For the record, at the time of death, Lebo was neither with Emtee nor was he at Emtee's place or studio," said the statement.
"We view these and similar utterances as inhuman and insensitive to both Lebo's family and friends in particular Emtee who, at the moment, is trying to come to terms with the loss of a childhood friend."
Emtee Records is asking the fans to keep the musician and Lebo's family in their prayers during this difficult time.

The star has even named two of his albums after his bundles of joy. Emtee titled his debut album Avery and his latest project is called Logan. The Roll Up hitmaker recently sat down with Zkhiphani during the launch of his new album Logan.
