The US trade deficit expanded in September on the back of a larger rise in imports than exports, according to government data released Tuesday. The US goods deficit with China, a point of focus during the trade war between both countries, grew to $24.1 billion in September, data showed.

Korean Air said Tuesday it "strictly manages" cosmic radiation exposure for its flight crew, after a landmark decision ruled an air steward's cancer death was akin to an industrial accident.
