On 2 April 2026, businesswoman Agata Lonia shared that she had recently taken her parents on a trip to Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, a city to which they had never been. It seemed that the trip had done her parents good, especially her father, who didn't need to use his 18-hour oxygen machine.
Stunned to see the amazing transformation, Agata, who initially wondered if her father would have managed on the trip, shared a series of her happy parents and said of her dad:
"But look at him... look closely. Is this even the same person?
"He spent the whole day without connecting to his machine. The glow, the laughter, and the happiness on his face, that’s something money can never buy."
