A local foster care home called One Small Act of Kindness recently shared a heartwarming post about welcoming a one-year-old little girl into the home. According to the post, the little one was living with her drug addict mom on the streets.
"Mommy works in town and very much on drugs to survive with what she does. This little girl slept in the cold outside with mommy. While blankets were being distributed she asked for help.. after 3 days she handed baby over today.This little Baby D needs our help! This week she will be going to the paed to get a full check.

"Today and tonight she knows what it is like to have a family and sleeping in a warm cot! to think 365 days plus in the cold. Mommy tried but she knew what she had to do for the best for her little girl! She arrived dirty and smelt terrible and very dark, After a warm bath she looks just to gorgeous!" part of the post reads.
Soon caring locals were offering to send in donations:

In other heartwarming Briefly News a woman has stunned the internet with her selflessness and kindness. The woman identified as Laylah Ali Othman turned the life of a young boy for good as she adopted him.
Laylah, according to her post on Facebook, had found the 12-year-old lad on a street in Abuja and was moved by compassion. The media personality upon meeting the lad whose occupation was to move with cattle asked him if he would like to be enrolled in school, to which he obliged.
Laylah reiterated that she met with his family and they agreed to her adoption request after putting up some resistance. The excited lady shared a photo with the boy alongside two of her sons.
