- Many of his followers were soon in the comment section joining him in praising Zozi, who will be an Mzansi fave forever despite her reign having come to an end
Mbuyiseni Ndlozi of the EFF has joined the long list of South Africans who showered former Miss SA and Miss Universe, Zozibini Tunzi, with love after her reign as the Queen of the Universe came to an end recently.
Heading to Twitter, Ndlozi shared a snap of the breathtakingly beautiful Zozi while on the 2021 Miss Universe stage on Sunday last weekend right before she handed over the crown to Andrea Meza from Mexico.
"She reigns forever," he captioned the photo, also adding a black heart.
Many of his followers joined him in praising the Eastern Cape beauty, others however resorted to making the usual series of jokes usual reserved for local politicians. Read a few of their comments below:
"Oksalayo I'm not voting EFF this time around."
"I may not be impartial but as I saw her handing over the crown, I honestly felt if she were there as a contestant, she would have won... absolutely gorgeous."
"She could still beat everyone hands-down for years to come."
Briefly News also reported that former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi will be remembered most for her grace and ability to represent the African continent with so much flare. The Xhosa beauty crowned her successor, Andrea Meza of Mexico, just last night, 16 May.
Although Zozibini parted ways with her much-deserved title, she looked every bit of an African queen dressed in a Ndebele-inspired fitted black and white number. The beaded gown was designed by local designer Biji – La Maison de Couture.
Mzansi got a behind-the-scenes look of the stunning gown on the designer's Instagram page. Opting not to wear the Miss Universe crown on her final night as queen, Zozibini waits anxiously backstage in the clip, adorned in a traditional Xhosa head-wrap.
