Eckhard Binding, the student who had bravely stood up for what he believed in when confronted with protesting EFF members, is currently South Africa's darling.
Briefly.co.za reported earlier that the UFS student had been identified after a video of him picking up litter, despite being humiliated by the protesters, went viral.
With donations and even a bursary flooding in for the brave student, Mzansi is bursting with pride!

The incident has even the most loyal EFF supporters questioning the protesters morals, Mhlangabezi Banya says that he will still vote for his party, but was disappointed in his fellow comrades.
Siyabonga Mkhize praised not only Binding, but his family, saying that it was plain to see that the young man had been raised right.
Sello Tsolo responded to people claiming the student's actions had been due to his skin colour by insisting that morals were colour-blind. He encouraged people to stop degrading themselves to playing the race card.
Sharon Joubert had found it ironic that the two woman, who had thought they had the upper hand, had been left out of all the excitement. Joubert even went as far as thanking them for (unintentionally) improving the life of the man they had bullied.
