Man makes thieves plant back plants they had stolen, video goes viral

A man who found that some of his plants had been stolen found a new way to get back at the people responsible for his loss.

A video surfaced online showing two men planting back the trees they had taken, as demanded by the home owner.

"Plant it back my friend, plant it back" the man tells one of the thieves.

The clip was shared on Facebook by South Africa Live on Monday and it has already gathered more than 26 500 views.

South Africans could not contain their laughter as they listened to the man telling the alleged thieves to plant back his trees.

We decided to take a look at some of the comments the footage gathered:

"Crime doesn't pay for you boys but thanks for the laughs at their expense. Glad the owner got to enjoy the moment too."
