South African Youtuber and influencer Zibo Bantsi passed away on Thursday, October 1 2020 from childbirth complications. Her partner, hip-hop artist Frost Legato shared the devastating news on social media yesterday.
The statement released by Frost announced her passing. According to the statement, Zibo gave birth to a healthy baby girl, Azha Nthati Bantsi via C-section on 16 September 2020. Complications arose during her delivery and she was put into an induced coma. She did not make it out of the coma.
Frost shared his pain on social media saying: "I don't know how I'm supposed to raise this little girl without you but I love you forever, my angel.”
Messages sending condolences to the family flooded on social media after the tragic news broke. Zibo and Frost shared the steps through their pregnancy journey on social media. Their fans were devastated.
A few months ago, the couple shared their gender reveal through a YouTube video. They announced that they were expecting a baby girl. The video was shot while they were in the hospital.
