Black Twitter recently decided to award some of the most prominent key-players in a successful Black Twitter year by having a virtual award ceremony which honours those who have become well-known in the black Twitter streets.
Fastfood giant Nandos who have built themselves a reputation for witty ad campaigns and fiery clapbacks is the recipient of an award. Telkom also received an award for being the "cheapest" network provider in Mzansi while Minister Tito Mboweni received his award for Best Politician of 2020.
Notorious photoshopper @Hybreed_ also made it on the list of award recipients while the #DuduzaneChallenge beat other challenges such as the #JohnVuliGate and #JerusalemaChallenge to receive the award for Best Challenge of 2020.
Not everyone received desirable awards though. E-Commerce store Takealot walked away with the Scammer of the Year award while fastfood store Hungry Lion received the award for Worst Restaurant.

Briefly.co.za also reported that getting a job these days is harder than ever. While many don't seem to be having luck in that department, a young South African woman is not one of them - something she is undoubtedly very proud of.
The young woman with the Twitter handle, @kgotthie recently headed to her personal Twitter page to share that she had gotten the job. While she did not explain what the job was, her followers were happy for her regardless.
"I got the job," she simply wrote in the heartwarming Twitter post.
