Mo'nique Travis is a caregiver who works with the elderly. She recently shared the random act of kindness she experienced after working a seven-day shift. Mo'nique says that on her way home from her shift, she was starving but only had R25.
She decided to stop at a nearby Wimpy for breakfast and hike home. The waiter approached her for her order and Mo'nique ordered a breakfast special with a glass of water. While waiting for her meal, a couple sitting near her asked her about the small meal she ordered.
Mo'nique was still in uniform and told them she had worked a full seven days. The lady then called the waiter over and ordered a full breakfast for Mo'nique, that she paid for.
Read the conclusion of Mo'nique's post shared to Facebook's #ImStaying group below:
"The lady reply and said no no, she called the waiter back and said give this nurse a full house breakfast, I will pay.
"I'm like, are you sure? "Yes," the lady replied. This is from me to say thank you for taking care of other people while risk yours. I was just shocked, the treat was special... When last did I have bacon, eggs, worsies, toast and nice coffee. I felt like a rich person.
"I am so thankful to that couple for making my morning, and I got home safely. #ImStaying."

In her heartwarming #ImStaying post, June explains that the man, Silvano Recchia, had noticed that she had been left stranded on a busy road due to a faulty tyre. He sprung into action and helped her fix the tyre.
"A big thank-you to Silvano Recchia for coming to the rescue on the freeway this afternoon. It's great to know that we can still find such kind and thoughtful gentlemen in SA... that's why I'm staying," she wrote.
