Boity Slams Brands for 'Bullying' Her To Tag Them on Social Media

Boity Thulo has slammed brands that want her to tag them on her social media posts even when she has paid for their products. The fed-up rapper took to Twitter recently to let those brands know that she doesn't tolerate their "bullying".

The media personality asked the pushy businesses to ask nicely instead of demanding her to tag them so her millions of fans can see the products or services the brands are offering.

Boity, who has 3.3 million followers on Twitter and 4.6 million fans on Instagram, makes some of her money by tagging or posting on her social media accounts on behalf of brands that pay her huge amounts of money. Sis doesn't like the ones that bully her into tagging them for free. The reality TV star wrote on Twitter:

"Can’t stand people who bully you into tagging them on SM even after you’ve paid for their product/service. It’s okay to ask nicely. Bathong."

A tweep told Boity not to allow the brands to instruct her to tag them if she doesn't feel like doing so. @JeanBloem1 commented:

"Never let people bully you beautiful Boity in Jesus' mighty name. Amen."

Briefly.co.za recently reported Boity recently celebrated hitting 4.6 million followers on Instagram and took to the platform to commemorate the moment.

Boity Thulo is one Mzansi celebrity who managed to have a successful 2020 in terms of business, career and self-love. The star released a fragrance and hair-care line, dropped a debut album and worked on her health and fitness. It is clear that Boity is bringing that same mindset into the new year as she managed to crack a milestone within the first week of 2021.

Boity thanked her loyal fans and followers for helping her achieve the milestone and her hashtags showed that she's planning on achieving some more. She wrote that every victory counts and added "#RoadTo5Million" to make sure everybody knew that she has no intention of stopping there.

In other entertainment news, Briefly.co.za reported that Boity is definitely no stranger to the soft life and this time she decided to show off an expensive piece of jewellery.

The Ba Kae hitmaker was surprised by celebrity dentist Dr Smile with a diamond piece that left social media users in awe. The custom piece of jewellery is an "Own Your Throne" piece, which is Boity's favourite phrase. She even has a song titled with the very same phrase on her latest EP 4436.

The jewellery was designed by Shohreh Custom Made. The piece was delivered to Boity ahead of her EP launch. Shohreh Custom Made posted an IGTV video detailing the process of delivering the special piece to Boity. A number of Mzansi social media users were impressed with the expensive gift from Dr Smile.
