Godisang David Mpye, a young man who recently bagged a PhD in engineering, has celebrated his academic achievement on social media.
Sharing his achievement on LinkedIn, the young man who graduated from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, wrote:
"PhD confirmed, I am Doctor now."
In recent times, many people have been taking to social media to celebrate their wins.
Well-wishers soon flooded Godisang's comment section to celebrate with him.

In a previous report by Briefly.co.za, an academic identified as Evans Omondi celebrated his achievement after bagging a PhD in applied mathematics.
According to Omondi who shared the good news on his LinkedIn page, his PhD journey successfully came to an end following his graduation.
Omondi, who lectures mathematics and statistics at Strathmore University, wrote:
"The long PhD journey successfully came to an end following the graduation. Congratulations are in order!!"
Well-wishers soon flooded the comment section of the post to congratulate Omondi.
In other news, Nandi Madida and Zakes Bantwini took to social media recently to celebrate their daughter's birthday. The celeb couple shared that Queen Nefertiti turned two on Tuesday, 2 March. Nandi took to Instagram on the day and shared a cute video of Queen Nefertiti and her brother Shaka playing in her car.
The singer and actress captioned the clip:
"Happy 2nd bday my Queen Nefertiti... How did I get so lucky? You and your brother are best friends. Forever grateful."
Zakes also took to the photo and video-sharing app and shared a couple of videos of himself and his little angel enjoying some daddy-daughter moments.
