- The Jerusalema singer was added to an Afrikaans listening test at Edenvale High School
- The teacher who conducted the test asked Nomcebo to come back to the school and perform the song as well
Master KG and Nomcebo Zikode's song Jerusalema has been a huge success in Mzansi and the buzz is still going. Taking to social media, Nomcebo posted a video showing that the song was used in a school test in Edenvale, Johannesburg.
"@edenvalehighschool1 used Jerusalema in one of their tests at school," said Nomcebo.
One of the teachers from the school walked Nomcebo's followers through the process of the test and how they made it happen.
"So we did a listening test in the Afrikaans class and the topic was on the Jerusalema song. The learners wrote the test and it was out of 10. They did very well and I told them that the lady lives close by," he said.
The teacher added that there was a photo of Nomcebo in the text and the average of the test was 80%. Nomcebo was very proud that the song was used in the test.
The singer told her followers that the test was in Afrikaans and the teacher said that one of the questions asked who helped produce the song.
They both made a joke about how the learners didn't know how to spell Nomcebo's name but she was still happy nonetheless. They also asked Nomcebo to come back and perform the song at the school.
In other entertainment news, Briefly.co.za reported that the Jerusalema singer showed love to her children. South African singer Nomcebo Zikode may be a hotshot vocalist but she is also a doting mommy.
The media personality recently took to social media to share a photo of her two children. Zikode has a girl named Ziyanda and a young boy name Mnotho. She captioned the post:
“My people @z.iyanda_n and @mnotho_fraser"
The children are very dear to the singer as she frequently gushes about them.
Social media users loved seeing the family picture and raved about how the young boy looks exactly like his famous mother.
