Louis Vuitton may have just released their most unusual handbag design yet and South Africans are not welcoming it so easily. Heading online, Twitter user Daniel Marven shared a snap of the $39k (about R565k) handbag that is shaped like an aeroplane.
"$39,000.00 Louis Vuitton Airplane purse," Marven captioned a snap of the peculiar purse.
Mzansi obviously did not wait long before they started roasting the expensive LV bag. When people were not asking if it could fly, they were wondering how quickly knock-offs of the purse could be manufactured.
Read a few of their comments below:
"Not taking that risk. What if it flies away?"
"That’s more than half a million in rands."
"Does it fly or you always have to carry it? I will listen on the radio."
"if you buy this, your chances of being robbed eJozi are low. Criminals will think this is a toy... in fact, if criminals see you carrying it... start running around and make funny noises 'weeeeeee'... #HowToGetAway WithAttemptedRobbery"
"They have mastered the use of their off-cuts. Nothing goes to waste there."
"Don’t let Somizi & MamKhize see this."
Briefly News also reported that some people genuinely have talent for days. A young woman with the Twitter handle @So_Al_like recently headed to the app to share just how talented she is after she was able to turn a Louis Vuitton shopping bag into a usable handbag.
In the snap, it looks like the innovative young woman covered the signature orange LV bag with a plastic film that both kept it firm and will protect it from dirt and dust. She then added a decorative scarf, which made it look even more professional.
"Made this from my Louis shopping bag," she captioned the snap.
