- As Lasizwe Dambuza looked to keep his new partner under wraps, a fan jokingly photoshopped his partner's snap to resemble that of Eminem
- A Photoshop whiz going by the handle of @RealMrumaDrive and calling himself 'The Cleaner' edited a blurred image of Lasizwe with his new bae, superimposing Eminem's face onto it
- Social media users predictably reacted humorously to Lasizwe’s doctored image, laughing about what it would be like if Lasizwe were dating Eminem for real
The digital power of social media combined with technology has come to light after a Twitter user 'The Cleaner' used Photoshop to doctor of Lasizwe Dambuza’s new bae, which he had blurred before posting.
This comes after Lasizwe shared a photo on Instagram saying that if he posts a picture of his partner and they happen to be different, it’s none of anyone's business.
However, this sparked interest in 'The Cleaner', who decided to take the opportunity for a joke and edited the pic to make it look like Eminem with his arms around the glowing Lasizwe. He captioned the tweaked pic: "It's done..."
“Bro we've been waiting for this, next time please stop this delay.”
“My leader, thank you for your service.”
“Definitely no secrets on Twitter.”
“This app is not for secrets. Well done.”
“No ways Rummie... please tell me you didn't reveal the Eminem in Lasizwe's life.”
Briefly News previously reported that Lasizwe decided to give love another shot. The media personality recently took to Instagram to show off a new man in a cosy photo shoot.
This time, Lasizwe had opted to keep the man’s face hidden. He posted the picture to his Instagram stories and nowhere else, making it impossible for fans to share their thoughts.
However, Briefly News gathered that he is playing it safe after the drama of his last relationship.
Meanwhile, Briefly News previously reported that Lasizwe and a few industry friends had been busy with a campaign to raise money for students amid the fees protests. The YouTube sensation asked his fans and followers to pledge just R10 towards the cause.
Many media personalities joined and pledged a lot more than that and it seems the money poured in. Lasizwe took to Twitter to reveal that they had met the R1 million target for their fundraising. He said:
“WE DID IT!!!!!!! WE RAISED R1 000 000.00 IN 5 DAYS!! #R10GOESALONGWAY AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!! OH MY GOSH! WE DID IT!!”
