Nonkanyiso ‘LaConco’ Conco joins the thousands within the Zulu nation who are broken by the passing of the regent Zulu Queen Mantfombi Dlamini.
Taking to social media, LaConco posted a picture of the late Zulu matriarch along with the caption:
“I can’t gather words hawu Nkosi engabe kwenze njani” (oh God what is going on?).
Her post was met with words of sympathy and comfort from her followers.

Briefly News had previously reported that Queen Shiyiwe Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu, Regent of Zulu Nation, passed away yesterday and the nation is in mourning. A statement was released by the Royal Family last night confirming the passing of Queen Mantfombi and the country was shocked.
After the passing of King Goodwill Zwelithini, his wife Mantfombi was given the royal seat as regent and the nation rejoiced at this news. It was comforting for many to know that the queen would be taking on the royal responsibilities of the family.
"This has taken us by surprise and left us utterly bereft. It is true that the Lord alone knows the days that He has allotted to each one of us," said the statement by the royal family.

Mantfombi Dlamini, also known as the Queen of the Zulu Kingdom, has become very much talked-about over the last few weeks after the passing of her husband King Goodwill Zwelithini, who was buried last week.
After the King's passing, it was decided that Mantfombi would serve as the interim leader of the Zulu Kingdom up until the rightful king steps into position. It just so happens that her first-born son seems to be the chosen one for the position.
