Former Generations: The Legacy actress Khabonina Qubeka has bid farewell to her popular role on Shaka ILembe.

Qubeka, who starred opposite MacG Mukwevho and Robot Boii, exited the drama series on Sunday, 31 August 2025.

Qubeka also recently caused a stir on social media when she praised her co-star, Mpilo Mbatha, who played the role of Mzilikazi.

The award-winning actress shared on her X account on Monday, 1 September 2025, that it was a privilege to be part of Shaka ILembe.

"It was an absolute privilege🖤. Thank you, angels, for making this story so beautiful to tell. Watched it through you. The plan was indeed to make you feel and react exactly as you did.
"I love you so much🤍. We do it all for you," she wrote on her X account.

Qubeka's witchy character, Queen Ntombazi, was killed by Shaka Zulu's (Lemogang Tsipa) tribe on the Sunday, 31 August 2025 episode.
