Renowned radio personality Sizwe Dhlomo has been accused of intentionally provoking Gayton McKenzie.
Dhlomo’s dislike of the Patriotic Alliance (PA) leader started after McKenzie’s decades-old racist rants and discriminatory comments about black South Africans were resurfaced amid the Open Chats Podcast scandal.
From then on, Sizwe Dhlomo has criticised Gayton McKenzie at the slightest opportunity, even when he consoled Dricus Du Plessis when he lost against Khamzat Chimaev. While netizens have often kept quiet or even chimed in, this time they called out Dhlomo for intentionally looking for Gayton McKenzie's trouble.
Sizwe Dhlomo mocks Gayton McKenzie again
On Wednesday, 10 September 2025, McKenzie gave an update regarding the Kenny Kunene probe that was initiated after Kunene was found at the house of the man accused of killing DJ Sumbody. Gayton McKenzie shared that they appointed a law firm to probe Kunene and any inquiries should be directed to them not the PA. The post was captioned:

“We have appointed reputable law firm Cliffe Dekke & Hofmeyer to investigate. We shared that information with the media. Shouldn’t you, as the media, call them to ask how far the investigations are instead of doing your usual bashing? You are tiring.”
Sizwe Dhlomo reacted to Gayton McKenzie. The post was captioned:
“Do you understand how ANYTHING works? Like anything!?”
Netizens react after Sizwe Dhlomo mocks Gayton McKenzie
In the comments, several netizens called out Sizwe Dhlomo for actively provoking Gayton McKenzie, who has never responded to him. Some sided with Dhlomo and accused McKenzie of being unprofessional.
Here are some of the comments:
@sastrugglestory agreed:
“Clearly not. There's no legal team in PA, hence all the press releases are via his cellphone from home. If there was, they'd release statements with the law firm, communicate these with people internally, including the media team, who'd then put together a press statement and publish before anyone asks.”
@nhlanhlaxulu4 remarked:
“Sizwe uyayifuna iattention Yale nsizwa (Sizwe wants this man’s attention). And asazi (I don’t know) why🙄”
@Ballomao claimed:
“We get it, you don't like Gayton. Besides the false narrative that he is a racist to blacks in those tweets taken without context. He will win that case. We shall take it from daso my dawg😂🫡”
@KG_TheOnly85 mocked:
“Heal wena @SizweDhlomo. This hate is making you lose more and more hair.”
@njabulo__sibiya argued:
“The announcement to appoint lawyers was a delaying tactic, a delay until we move on to the next scandal. There was never a genuine intention to get the truth about Kenny's relationship with the accused.”
