South African singer Nirvana Nokwe came clean about her viral picture with Beyoncé.

She posted her snap with the Crazy In Love hitmaker on 14 September 2025, with Beyoncé wearing her 44th birthday outfit.

The ladies can be seen embracing while smiling for the camera, with Nirvana wearing a white gown and Beyoncé stunning in a sultry burgundy number.

Seeing that Mrs Carter rarely takes photos with just anyone, it was clear that Nirvana was no stranger to the singer.

South African social media users' reactions were a mix of envy and praise, with everyone eager to find out how the two individuals had even met. So, you can imagine the shock on their faces when Nirvana revealed that the picture was completely fake.

Taking to her Twitter (X) page on 16 September, after generating thousands of impressions both on Instagram and X, the Mama singer revealed that the picture was AI-generated:

"Haibo guys, this is AI. I’m getting news article interview requests on how I met Beyoncé."

In the comments section, while answering questions from her followers, she revealed that her niece created the photo, saying even she thought it was real:

"When my niece sent this pic to me in the family group, I jumped! Then I remembered that wait, this has never happened!"
