On the show, Shilubana's character, Vukosi, sent a direct message to Poet and asked for his mother, Kedibone's, number. Poet's grandmother asked him not to mention the message to his mother because she's married. Kedibone confirmed to her friend that Vukosi is Poet's father and has no idea that he has a son, as she never told him that she was pregnant when they broke up.
