Rather than going quietly, Hlatshwayo used the livestream to make a series of claims directed at someone in the room. He alleged that a man present had been threatening his life for some time, saying the individual had previously pursued him and an associate in Germany and that he had video footage from that encounter. Hlatshwayo said during the stream:

"This guy has been threatening my life, guys. This guy, and I've been running away from him.”

He went on to accuse the man of defrauding a family by taking money under the pretence of building them a house. Hlatshwayo also mentioned cooperating with detectives, referring to himself as a "crime pastor" and insisting he had been assisting a family who had approached him about the alleged scam.

Despite the chaos, he appeared eager to present himself as the wronged party, claiming to have all the evidence and expressing willingness to work with law enforcement.
