Former NBA champion Lamar Odom is making a career pivot that nobody saw coming. According to TMZ, the two-time NBA champion is set to become the first professional basketball player to join OnlyFans, the subscription-based content platform widely associated with adult creators.
Odom, 45, built his legacy as a versatile forward during his time with the Los Angeles Lakers, where he won back-to-back NBA championships in 2009 and 2010. He was also named the NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 2011. Beyond basketball, he became a household name through his marriage to Khloé Kardashian, which played out on the reality TV series Khloé and Lamar. The couple married in 2009 but separated in 2013, with their divorce finalised in 2016 after Odom was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel in 2015 following a reported drug overd*se.
Odom's troubled road after the NBA
Since retiring from professional basketball, Odom has faced a string of personal and financial setbacks. He has been open about his battles with drug addiction and has spoken publicly about the impact his lifestyle had on his health and career. Reports of financial difficulties have also followed him in recent years, painting a picture of a man trying to rebuild from a very difficult place.
