A South African couple took parenting creativity to a whole new level. Rather than letting their toddler's screen time be ruled by popular kids' creator Ms Rachel, they filmed their own educational video and put it on the TV instead. TikTok user @the_wayz_ posted the clip on 20 October 2026, and it quickly resonated with parents across the country.

In the video, the couple's little boy wanders around the living room clutching two small balls, looking genuinely puzzled as he spots familiar faces on the screen. His parents appear in a homemade clip, enthusiastically singing the colours of the rainbow. The more they sing, the closer the toddler inches towards the TV, eventually standing completely transfixed.
