Du Toit has been associated with Toyota South Africa through promotional material featuring two of the brand's most capable models: the Land Cruiser Prado and the Hilux bakkie.
Du Toit's rugby achievements
The lock and loose forward has won back-to-back Rugby World Cups with the Springboks and was named Player of the Match when South Africa defeated New Zealand in the 2023 Rugby World Cup final.

The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is the SUV most closely linked to Du Toit. He has spoken about using it on the family farm and during outdoor adventures in the Western Cape with his children. In South Africa, the Prado is fitted with a 2.8-litre GD-6 turbodiesel engine producing 150kW and 500Nm of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive. The Toyota Hilux, a bakkie with deep roots in South Africa's agricultural communities, is the second vehicle associated with the Springbok star. Higher-specification Double Cab variants share the same 2.8-litre turbodiesel engine, also rated at 150kW and 500Nm. Pricing across the Double Cab range varies considerably, with entry-level models remaining below the R1 million mark and more heavily equipped versions commanding notably higher prices.
Both vehicles offer the load-carrying capacity, off-road ability and durability required for farm and family life, making them a practical fit for a player whose days away from professional rugby are spent close to the land.
