The Premier Soccer League has announced the nominees for the annual awards as the 2020/21 DStv Premiership season draws to a close. Among those nominated is none other Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Njabulo Blom, who has been a revelation for the Soweto giants this term.
Amakhosi took to their official Twitter page to wish the youngster the best of luck for the awards ceremony, which will be staged on Sunday, 6 June after all the league matches have been completed.
“PSL Awards. Congratulations to the current Toyota Corolla Player That Has It All, Njabulo Blom for being nominated in the Nedbank Cup Most Promising Player of the Tournament category. Good luck!”
Blom has been given the nod for his contribution in the Nedbank Cup as they succumbed to Richards Bay in the first round back in February.
While some of the fans have questioned the former MultiChoice Diski Challenge player’s inclusion, many have congratulated the versatile campaigner.

Apart from their players’ nomination, Chiefs are still under pressure to qualify for the MTN8 and will face Black Leopards on Wednesday afternoon.
Coach Gavin Hunt’s troops currently sit 11th on the log table with 30 points and will be going all-out for a victory at Thohoyandou Stadium.
Meanwhile, Briefly News reported that striker Bernard Parker says he would like to stay with the Soweto giants.
‘Die Hond’s' contract is set to expire at the end of the 2020/21 DStv Premiership season and has reaffirmed his love for the club.
With Amakhosi yet to indicate whether they will retain or release him, the former Bafana Bafana striker says Naturena is where his heart is and that the club is his family.
