A sombre mood engulfed the mourners as they released balloons at the Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Speaking at the event, the late teen's mother LaTosha Perry revealed that his peers called him Mr Perfect out of admiration because he was not only humble but also had a great smile all the time.

The most emotional moment of the ceremony was when Donald Sr accepted his son’s diploma on his behalf, donned in a black graduation gown.
