SA singer, Nathi Mankayi, has spoken up on Behind The Label about his relationship with fellow artist, Vusi Nova.

As reported on by ZAlebs, the men's 'bromance' became sour sometime last year and Nathi made a comment that confused fans. He said Vusi did not own him and then refused to work with him.

Now, he revealed details about shady deals by Lance Stehr, owner of the independent record label, Muthaland Entertainment.

Briefly.co.za gathered that Nathi also said he left the label because he was feeling controlled by them. He added that there was still some tension between them but he's got no problem with Vusi.

"I chose to be independent but after that, I had to do everything by myself. Anything that involved my new albums because I felt neglected. I then realised that the rumours that were circulating about Lance Stehr abusing artists were true."

Fans of the musicians can apparently expect to see Nathi, Lance and Vusi on the next episode of Behind the Label for more information about the situation.
