Mzansi social media users were left impressed by beautiful houses in a rural village in KZN. The pictures were shared online and received the approval of the ever-critical internet mob.

Twitter user SayEntrepreneur shared the pics of the stunning homes with the caption:

"Umbumbulu, rural village in South Coast, under Inkosi Makhanya. These houses are built by their owners with cash and the land is unencumbered."

The tweet claimed the houses were built with cash, but some social media users disputed it. Twitter user ashley_moloi said:

"Some through Ithala Bank, but beautiful houses nonetheless."

"Umbumbulu is not in South Coast but South of Durban. I am familiar with the area. Yes, the houses are beautiful and many were built for cash. The Municipality must intervene and bring services, electricity and roads in that area. This will assist owners with value appreciation."
