Somizi Mhlongo joins #ChallengeAccepted campaign dressed as a woman

Somizi Mhlongo is the latest Mzansi media personality to join the #ChallengeAccepted campaign. The trending hashtag is specifically for women to highlight women empowerment.

Somizi donned some make-up and a weave and hopped onto the trend. Women have been posting black and white photos of themselves and tagging other ladies to join them.

Somizi took to Instagram after being tagged by Moneoa and posted a black and white video of himself. The star was dressed in full drag with a stunning face beat, wig and dramatic dress.

He captioned his post:

"I dedicate this post to all the women of the world.”

His post received mixed reactions from Mzansi social media users. Some thought Somizi looked great while others thought that he was taking over a challenge he was not meant to be a part of.

In similar news, AKA took to social media to mock #ChallengeAccepted. The rapper used the campaign as an opportunity to joke around. He took to Instagram and posted a black and white picture of himself.

He claimed Oprah challenged him and he nominated Bey, Rihanna and Kylie Jenner to post their photos. His fans were in stitches over his stunt.
