Lasizwe and Cedric Fourie's friendship was a source of intrigue for Mzansi for a while but now the focus is on the reason why it no longer exists.

It is apparent from chatter and social media that the two are no longer as tight as they used to be, but have provided no clarification as to why. Obviously they are entitled to remain as private with their personal lives as they want to be, but with all the social media posting from when they were still hanging out, the absence caught fans' attention.

Tweeps asked Lasizwe about the end of the friendship and he answered cryptically with how it "all ended in tears".

The friendship was part of public discussion, especially online, for a long while. Some speculated that Lasizwe and Cedric were actually more than friends. Whatever they were, no matter, as Lasizwe's tweet clearly shows that they are not close any more.

This did not stop people digging for a reason, though. Tweeps were clearly interested in hearing more details as they pried for the information:

@OJLinc: "Details ntwana.. we love drama."

@kayxoticc: "Uhm Chile anyways we need a story time"

@RegoYungsavage: "What happened, you guys had a good thing going."

Khanyi Mbau and her brother, Lasizwe recently lost their father. 2020 has been hard on everyone but losing a parent is a very specific and complicated kind of loss.

Unfortunately, the siblings are not alone in their grief as there were more SA celebs who lost parents this year. Grieving in the public eye is also a challenge and everybody does it differently. Mzansi saw so many struggles this year that it's hard to keep track.

Another star who had to endure this terrible tragedy was Azania. The radio personality lost her own father back in July. She posted a poem to capture her grief and help others who also may be in their grieving process.
