Sadio Mane: Footballer owns car collection worth staggering R11 million

- Sadio Mane is one football celebrity that boasts of exotic cars

- The player has been modest in public - mostly seen driving a Range Rover

- Mane has over $665,000 (about R11 million) worth of cars including a Bentley Continental GT and Mercedes AMG

Sadio Mane is a big fan of luxury cars and despite his modest public appearance most times, the Senegalese star has a stylish garage with cars worth more than $665 000 - which is about R11 million.

The Liverpool star has among others a Mercedes G63 AMG worth $200 000, Bentley Continental GT worth $200 000, Audi RS7 $120 000 and Range Rover Evoque worth $45 000.

But he is mostly seen driving his Range Rover to training ground, and from what the player earns, he can by that every 33 minutes.

Mane has a net worth of $20million as of 2020, and as such he is out of the top 100 richest footballers in the world.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, No.1 and No.2 on the list, boast a net worth of $450 million and $400 million respectively.

The 26-year-old’s latest contract with Liverpool was signed in November 2018 for him to earn €10million per year.

A breakdown of the contract sees him getting over €830,000 per month, over €200,000 per week and over €27,000 per day and the deal runs until 2023.

The former Southampton player also earns massively from endorsements with Indonesia Tourism, Wester Union and New Balance.

Sadio Mane mostly appear modest in public but he has some good numbers of exotic cars.

Despite his riches, Mane has been giving helping hands to the less privileged who he thinks needs it more. He said:

"Why would I want ten Ferraris, 20 diamond watches or two planes? What will these objects do for me and for the world?"

"I was hungry, and I had to work in the field; I survived hard times, played football barefooted, I did not have an education and many other things, but today with what I earn thanks to football, I can help my people.
"I built schools, a stadium, we provide clothes, shoes, food for people who are in extreme poverty. In addition, I give 70 euros per month to all people in a very poor region of Senegal which contributes to their family economy."

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za earlier reported that Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the richest athletes in the world with net worth of about £200-250 million, a weekly wage of £365,000 and a ginormous fan base on social media.

The huge lover of cars also has a lifetime contract with the sports giant Nike and has endorsement deals with the likes of Tag Heuer, Armani, Castrol and PokerStars.
