ProVerb revealed that he went into the audition expecting just to get a general spot and ended up getting offered the co-executive producer position. Believing in himself is one power ProVerb believes has helped him achieve many of the things that he has.

“I just did my regular audition, I think I even fluffed my line but the moment I believed I can get this gig, there was the guy who is now my business partner Gavin Raden, the executive producer of SA Idols said ‘Relax, try again’ and then I took a moment and in that moment it’s only when I believed, ‘Man I can get this gig’ .I took my moment and I delivered that line.”

ProVerb then went on to talk a little more about the memoir that he released last month titled The Book Of ProVerb.

Briefly.co.za previously reported that while some celebrities were complaining about getting no gigs, others such as ProVerb were using the lockdown to be productive.

The Idols SA presenter has penned his memoirs, which tell the story of his professional and personal life. The Book of ProVerb is named after his debut album. According to the rapper, the memoirs will pay tribute to all those who helped him become who he is today.

The rapper wasn't shy to talk about some of the skeletons that are buried deep in his closet, including the painful divorce he endured a few years ago.
