Bonang Matheba took the time to let our newly crowned Miss South Africa, Shudufhadzo Musida, know that she is here to support her. Shudufhadzo has not been having the easiest of times.

If there is any celebrity in SA who a Miss SA needs on their side, it is Bonang. Having been a part of the pageant for years and possessing the level of influence that she does, Queen B’s support is invaluable.

Seeing the mixed reactions that Shudufhadzo has been receiving, Bonang felt the need to take to social media and let Miss SA know that she’s got her back. Making her support publicly known is Bonang’s way of silencing the haters.

While the backlash hasn’t been extreme, the confidence in Shudufhadzo as Miss SA has not been unwavering. Shudufhadzo has big shoes to fill and it is clear that Bonang believes she can do it.

Briefly.co.za previously reported that 24-year-old Shudufhadzo Musida, South African gem and Miss SA, will be received warmly by her fellow Limpopo community as she heads back home to complete a three-day tour of the beautiful province.

Shudu, as she is affectionately called by her adoring South African fans, started off her homecoming with a delightful breakfast at the Meropa Casino and Entertainment cCentre with Limpopo premier Chupu Mathabatha, MECs and other executive mayors.

@GOLimpopo, Limpopo's official tourism Twitter page, took to the app to share pictures of the beauty enjoying her breakfast among the province's proud leaders.

It was also reported that Shudufhadzo Musida the new Miss SA is touring her hometown, in Limpopo, in a three-day blitz. She has a busy schedule with visits booked in for children's homes and care homes.

Thousands of people flocked to see the beauty queen as she took part in a street parade in Polokwane. Musida said she had always worked hard to achieve her dreams according to SABC.
