Ayanda Thabethe reportedly has a new bae and it is none other than footballer and ex-Bafana Bafana captain Bongani Khumalo.
The two stars have been dating for months and have regularly been seen at each other's residences. Sources allegedly told the publication that the couple is very serious and might even be ready to settle down soon.
Ayanda and Bongani have been spotted out in public together and more recently reported to have attended the SA Style Awards where Ayanda had been hosting the event and the two were seen getting cosy.
Sunday World also reported that the publication reached out to representatives of both stars for confirmation but wrote:
"When approached for comment, Khumalo said he does not talk about his personal life but only soccer-related issues. Thabethe did not respond to questions."
Mzansi will have to wait and see if the two are spotted again or confirm their relationship through social media. Both celebs are pretty private when it comes to their personal lives, Bongani's Instagram profile is not public and Ayanda recently posted on Twitter that she had a newly-acquired love for keeping personal stuff on the down-low.
Briefly.co.za previously reported on Ayanda tweeting that she had recently discovered the importance of privacy in her life.
Ayanda Thabethe took to Instagram to share a revelation she had. The star dropped some wisdom on Twitter about keeping personal stuff, personal. Ayanda posted a tweet saying:
"I didn’t know that there was so much peace in privacy. This is one lesson I wish I would’ve learned sooner."
Tweeps responded to the sentiment and mostly agreed, many showing their support through likes, of which the post has over 1 000.
Some followers thought Ayanda was being a little hypocritical since she is so active on social media but most felt that the statement rang true:
@LedwabaSehlako: "It's a peaceful place, less drama as well"
@SpacesCreative1: "Yup, try cutting down on posting social media and you’ll be even more happier."
@drleratoletlape: "Privacy is always key to peace and of extreme importance Ayanda, it is paramount to protection and preservation of sanity in various situations of life."
@bonnie_mcrope: "A private life is a happy life . People or haters can't ruin what they don't know."
